Together building a better place to live

We consider it a great privilege and responsibility to be good stewards of our resources. It is our duty to help preserve and sustain the resources that we have been given so they can be passed down to the generations to come. This is why we do everything we can to provide you with products from responsibly harvested and verified sources. We are members of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), Sustainable Northwest, and the Northwest Eco Building Guild. Our commitment to these organizations and standards insures that we responsibly restore and maintain the forest ecosystems. We believe in good forest stewardship.

The choice of wood as a green building material is intuitive. Not only does it grow naturally, it’s renewable and is completely recyclable. Wood is an effective insulator and uses far less energy to produce than concrete or steel. It can also offset climate change, since trees consume carbon dioxide as they grow, with the resulting products storing carbon for centuries.
